PUBLIC NOTICE: BOIL WATER NOTICE FOR ALL KIMBERLEY RESIDENTS
Have you wondered about the source of our drinking water? As part of Public Works Day and National Drinking Water Week, The City of Kimberely is organizing a tour of the Mark Creek Dam. Join us on Thursday May 25 for one of two tour times (8:30 AM and 12:00 PM) that depart from the City Works Yard at 250 Knighton Road. Space is limited so please contact Operations early to reserve your seat.
Environment Canada has issued a weather alert for our area for showers and thunderstorms. 15 to 25 mm of rain is likely over many regions by Friday morning with the potential for higher amounts affected by severe thunderstorms.
Please join us for an open house at the Public Works Yard located at 250 Knighton Road on Thursday, May 25th from 8:30 a.m.–3:00 p.m. This is a kid-friendly event and everyone is welcome to attend. Hot dogs and hamburgers will be served for lunch starting at 11:00 a.m. The City offers residents a free BBQ and the opportunity to learn more about what our crews do and how they do it.
