Thank you for your patience during the Aquatic Centre closure.
We're happy to announce that the new equipment has been delivered and is being installed! While we anticipate the closure will extend until mid-week, we'll keep you updated with any changes.
The good news is - swim lessons are continuing as scheduled. If there are any changes, we'll be sure to let affected residents know.
March 26, 2025 - The Kimberley Aquatic Centre regrets to inform the public that the facility will be closed until further notice due to a hot water tank failure. The closure will extend through the weekend, with a new tank expected to be installed early next week.
Despite the closure, the Aquatic Centre Day Camps will continue as scheduled, although there will be no pool time available. Additionally, the Bronze Medallion course will proceed as planned.
At this time, both Pre-school and Swimmer Lessons set to start on Monday, March 31st are expected to go ahead. We will inform participants in advance if this changes.
