The City of Kimberley is announcing the official results of the By-election held on September 21st, 2024. Maryse Leroux, Chief Election Officer, has officially declared the elected candidate.
“I, Maryse Leroux, Chief Election Officer, do hereby declare elected, DIANA FOX, who received the highest number of valid votes for the office of Councillor,” stated Leroux. The official declarations can be found below.
A total of 1,489 voters participated in the by-election, which included two advanced voting days on September 11th and 18th and general voting on September 21st. The City thanks all residents who took the time to cast their ballots and participate in this democratic process.
Diana Fox will be officially sworn in during the October 15th, 2024 City Council meeting.
